This 35-minute class begins at 9 am EST, or 7 am MDT every Tuesday and Thursday morning.
Only monthly members can take this class.
It is for women who want to practice yoga in a way that takes into account concerns for bodies over 50 (and 60, 70 and 80)! We align ourselves for optimal engagement and incorporate breathing to make sure the movements make sense for what we are feeling. This class requires that you can get up and down off of the floor several times, but you do not need to be able to do downward dog. You may use a chair to help with your balance poses and to get up and down from the floor. If you have props, such as a blanket and 2 blocks, you should have them nearby. This class is done without shoes.
