✨Welcome to Yoga-Inspired Movement Day. Are you ready to stretch, strengthen, balance, and breathe in order to prevent osteopenia or osteoporosis from progressing?

This practice can be enjoyed fully if you have a yoga mat (or exercise mat), two yoga blocks, and a blanket. We will occasionally use a strap as well.

If you need a bit of support getting up and down from the floor, have a sturdy chair nearby, or be near a wall. Safety first, please.

Our practice today includes:
Seated opening
Climb the ladder
Seated twist
Table, single arm breaststroke
Table, single leg hip circles
Table pull in opposite arm and leg dynamic
Puppy or Child’s pose, to each side
Calf stretch
Inner thigh stretch
Low lunge with blocks
Crescent lunge
Lunge hip opener and twist
Crescent lunge to high lunge
Massage top of foot between each long bone
Tadasana
Chair, chair on one foot, cross leg
Walk on heels, walk on toes
Quad stretch or dancer pose
Bridge
Hamstring massage
Lower trunk rotation
Bridge
Happy baby
Savasana
