How long have you been walking/hiking/running in your shoes? Check out the soles of my shoes in this video to help you figure out if it is time to get new, not worn-out footwear.
Once your foot has worn down the tread, you will walk even deeper into that pattern. It is like the tires on your car, you get further and further out of alignment. That is when you might start seeing knee, hip or ankle pain.
Take out your shoes, flip them over and check them out. The top just doesn't matter, it is the bottom you need to evaluate.
